Tata Harrier EV Bookings Now Open

Days after revealing the prices of the Harrier EV, Tata Motors has now officially started accepting its bookings. If you’re also eyeing this flagship Tata EV, here’s everything you need to know about it: –

  • The Tata Harrier EV is based on the brand’s Acti.ev platform, which is a born-EV architecture, derived from Tata’s Omega Arc platform. This platform can house multiple body styles like SUVs, crossovers, etc.
  • Design-wise, it looks similar to its ICE counterpart, except for a few EV-specific design changes, like a closed-off grille, redesigned bumpers at both ends with silver vertical slats, 19-inch aero-optimised alloy wheels, and “.ev” badging on the front doors and tailgate.
  • Speaking of the dimensions, the Harrier EV is 4607mm long, 1922mm wide, and 1740mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2741mm. It has a water wading capacity of 600mm.
  • Its approach, departure and breakover angles stand at 25.3°, 26.4° and 16.6°.
  • To further boost its off-road capabilities, the EV has been loaded with a host of electronics aids, such as off-road assist, transparent view in the surround view system, and six terrain modes (Normal, Mud Ruts, Rock Crawl, Sand, Snow/Grass and Custom).

  • For creatures’ comfort, it gets amenities like automatic LED projector headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, power tailgate with gesture control, puddle lamps, illuminated steering, a 14.3-inch floating touchscreen infotainment with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 10-speaker JBL sound system with Dolby Atmos, panoramic sunroof, powered BOSS mode, powered front seats with ventilation function, digital cluster, dual-zone AC, rear sunshaded, Vehicle-to-Load (V2L), Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V), auto park assist, summon mode and much more.
  • For passengers’ safety, it comes with 7 airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill assist, ISOFIX anchors, tyre pressure monitoring system, front & rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, and a level-2 ADAS suite.
  • Recently, it has secured a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP.
  • It is offered in five trim levels: Adventure, Adventure S, Fearless Plus, Empowered, and Empowered AWD, along with two battery pack options: 65 kWh and 75 kWh.
  • Tata also offers the Harrier EV in a special Stealth Edition variant, which is based on the Empowered trim.
  • It is available in both rear-wheel drive (RWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) configurations.
  • The AWD configuration is exclusive to the top-spec Empowered variant.
