Talking about the Dark XZ+ variant, it now gets a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and Brake Sway Control. While the former alerts the driver when the tire pressure is low, the latter prevents the vehicle from swaying off the road. Besides, it continues to come equipped with auto projector headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, a 7-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, an 8-speaker Harman sound system, semi-digital driverโ€™s display by turn-by-turn navigation assist, leather seats, auto AC, keyless entry with push-button start, cruise control, dual-front airbags, corner stability control, tire puncture repair kit, ISOFIX child seat anchors, low tire pressure warning, rear parking sensors with a reverse camera.

With this recent update, the Altroz Dark is now available with all three engine options of the hatchback: a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol (86PS/113Nm), 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol (110PS/140Nm), and 1.5-litre diesel (90PS/200Nm). All mills get a standard 5-speed manual gearbox. However, the brand will soon introduce the Altroz with DCT automatic transmission. It will also get an electric powertrain in near future.

What does make Tata Altroz Dark Edition different from the regular variants?

For those who arenโ€™t aware, the Altroz Dark Edition comes finished in a Cosmo Black exterior shade with black-out treatment on the front grille and wheels.

Inside, the Altroz Dark Edition boasts an all-black dashboard and doors with gloss black inserts. In addition, the seats are finished in black with a dark blue signature tri-arrow pattern on the backrest and base, and #DARK badging on the front headrests.
