Sportier Hyundai Creta N-Line Makes Debut In Brazil; Will It Launch In India?

The all-new Hyundai Creta N-Line has just made its debut in Brazil. It’s a sportier version of the Creta SUV that adds aggressive design elements and retuned dynamics for a more alluring driving experience.

The Brazilian-spec Hyundai Creta N-Line is equipped with a 1.0-liter T-GDI turbocharged petrol engine that is capable of developing a maximum grunt of 120PS and a peak torque of 172Nm. It comes paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission with the Stop & Go system. Moreover, the steering wheel of the SUV has been weighted for better feedback at high speeds, and the suspension system has been stiffened with new dampers and springs for enhanced road command.

Besides mechanical changes, the Creta N Line also sports some aggressive design changes. That said, based on the pre-facelift model that is currently on sale in India, it gets a new Tucson-inspired grille and redesigned front bumper with a large air dam, sportier split skid plate, and triangular-shaped fog lamps. Further, new 17-inch alloys with N branding, prominent N-only wing-type spoiler, redesigned tailgate with sharp creases, split rear faux diffuser, and dual exhaust tips emphasize its sportier style on the rear.

Inside, it flaunts an N-exclusive red accent around the all-black cabin, and N branding on the front seatbacks, gear selector, and the bottom of the steering wheel. It also gets metal sports pedals.

In terms of features, the Creta N-Line comes loaded up to the brim. The highlights include a panoramic sunroof, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with BlueLink connected car tech, a digitized instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, multiple airbags, electronic parking brakes with auto-hold, multiple driving modes, a 360-degree camera, and Hyundai SmartSense ADAS tech, which further comprises lane assistance, fatigue detector, adaptive high beam, and autonomous emergency braking.

Hyundai Creta N-Line – Will it launch in India?

While the Korean carmaker kept numb about its India launch, we expect it to hit our shores with the facelifted model sometime in 2023. Also, there’s a high chance that it will come with the ongoing 140PS 1.4-liter turbo-petrol unit instead of the 1.0-liter turbo unit.
