Skoda To Open More Showroom By August 2021

Thriving on the success of the recently launched Kushaq SUV, Zac Hollis- the director of ŠKODA Auto India, has announced that the brand will be opening more dealerships by August 2021. With this, it will be present in 100 cities across the country with 170 customer touchpoints, including sales and after-sales facilities. In fact, the Czech automaker stated that they have received more than 200 applications for Skoda dealerships post the launch of its compact SUV.

The list of upcoming Skoda dealerships includes places like Bhilai (Chhattisgarh), Rourkela (Odisha), Sambalpur (Odisha), Kundli (Haryana), Thrissur (Kerala), and more. By the end of 2022, Skoda will have over 225 touchpoints across the country. The company also has plans to set up 185 aftersales touchpoints by 2025.

Commenting on the latest developments, Zac Hollis said- 

“I am delighted to share that we will be present in more than 100 cities in the coming month. Enhancing the ownership experience is a key pillar of our growth strategy and increasing our network presence is one of the important pillars to meet this objective.”

Besides, Skoda has also recently introduced its ‘Peace of Mind’ campaign to enhance the ownership experience. The campaign is said to be built on four pillars: Cost of ownership, Customer Reach, Convenience, and Transparency. Under this initiative, the company has redefined the ownership experience in essential aftersales divisions of cost of maintenance, customer reach, and convenience through strategic initiatives. The brand is also revised its spare parts prices, enhanced replacement intervals, and reduced engine oil prices of gasoline engines by 32%, resulting in up to 21% lower overall maintenance costs.

In the other news, the ŠKODA Auto is also preparing up for the launch of facelifted Kodiaq and Rapid's successor model that is likely to be known as Slavia. Both models are expected to be launched by the end of this year.
