Skoda Slavia 1.5 TSI Prices Revealed

After launching the 1.0-liter TSI variants of the all-new Skoda Slavia mid-size sedan on February 28, the Czech automaker has now revealed the asking rates of the more powerful 1.5 litre TSI petrol variants: –

As the above table indicates, the 1.5-liter TSI mill is only available in the top-spec Style variant of the Slavia, which commands a premium of up to Rs 2.4 lakh over the Style 1.0 trim. For this added premium, you get the segment’s most powerful 4-cylinder petrol engine (150PS/250NM) with Active Cylinder Technology (ACT), paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT).

Skoda claims that the Slavia 1.5 TSI will offer a fuel efficiency of up to 18.72kmpl and can complete the century sprint in just 8.8 seconds.

In terms of features. the Slavia 1.5 gets the same set of equipment as the 1.0-liter Style trim. These include automatic LED headlights, rain-sensing wipers, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, connected car tech, an 8-inch Virtual Cockpit system, auto AC, ventilated front seats, an electric sunroof, wireless smartphone charger, and much more.

Safety is covered by up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC (electronic stability control), a rear parking camera, and tire pressure monitoring, etc.

In the Indian market, the Skoda Slavia goes up against the Hyundai Verna, Honda City, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, and the upcoming Toyota Belta and Volkswagen Virtus.
