Czech automaker ŠKODA has unveiled its new logo, which emphasizes the brand name in 2D graphics with an integrated “hook” accent over the letter S and the use of two new green colors, making it look cleaner & more straightforward than the ongoing 3D design. The symbol of the winged arrow has also been slightly altered. Skoda will use this typographic logo on its future cars from 2024, starting with the new-generation Superb sedan and the Kodiaq SUV, followed by an updated version of the Octavia.
Skoda claims that its logo designing team received 165 design suggestions from the entire company and it took around one year to finalize the new brand identity.

With the new brand emblem, Skoda Auto has also revealed its new design language through the unveiling of VISION 7S concept utility vehicle, which also stresses the brand’s focus on electric mobility. This 7-seater family electric car will be launched by 2026, along with two more EVs, out of which one will be a compact SUV and the other will be a small car.
Skoda also strives to acquire a share of over 70% of all-electric models in Europe by 2030.
Talking about Skoda’s new design philosophy, it will be characterized by robust looks, functionality, and authenticity, with key features including the Tech-Deck face and a modern reworking of the traditional ŠKODA radiator grille which is particularly flat & wider when compared to the current design. New dark glass replaces the ongoing rib pattern, hiding sensors and enhancing aerodynamics. With the front headlights repositioned to the vehicle edge, there are two rows arranged one above the other, and the smartly defined DRLs extend laterally into the pronounced wings, forming a ‘T’ shape with the light cluster.
In addition to the sharply contoured front, clear surfaces and a gently sloping roof line to the rear create an appealing side profile. There’s also the illuminated ŠKODA lettering on the front & rear of the car, which is part of the new logo and the carmaker’s new visual identity.
Inside, Skoda’s largest ever 14.3-inch rotating touchscreen infotainment system dominates the minimalist designed dashboard that also receives an 8.8-inch virtual cockpit, an augmented-reality head-up display (HUD), and a newly designed flattened steering wheel. The new steering also incorporates a touchpad with haptic scroll wheels to control various in-car functions.
The other notable elements of the Skoda VISION 7S include the use of sustainable & durable materials, a center console integrated child seat, a child camera above the rear seats, magnetically secured places in the center console for mobile phones, and guiding ambient lighting.
Speaking of the powertrain, Skoda will equip the VISION 7S EV with an 89-kWh li-ion battery that will be good in offering a range of over 600 kilometers per charge. It will also support ultra-fast DC charging of up to 200kW.
