Skoda Kylaq Hits 10,000 Bookings Milestone

Skoda India has achieved a significant milestone of reaching 10,000 bookings for the recently launched Kylaq within 10 days of the commencement of its bookings. Its deliveries will start in late January 2025.

The Kylaq is the latest entrant in the sub-4m SUV space, priced between Rs 7.89 lakh and Rs 14.40 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in three variants: Classic, Signature, Signature Plus and Prestige, with the range-topping variant comes loaded with amenities like an LED lighting system, rain-sensing wipers, 17-inch alloy wheels, single-pane electric sunroof, power front seats with ventilation function, auto AC, rear AC vents, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless smartphone charger, digital instrument cluster, cruise control, front & rear armrests, and more. For safety, it gets six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, ISOFIX anchors, a tyre pressure indicator, a hill hold assist, and a reverse parking camera with sensors.

Skoda Kylaq bookings

Powering the Skoda Kylaq is a 1-litre, 3-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that makes 115PS of max power and 178Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties are handled by 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

The Skoda Kylaq goes up against the Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Renault Kiger and Nissan Magnite.
