Skoda India has begun series production of the Kushaq facelift at its Chakan plant in Pune. Its bookings are already underway for a token amount of Rs 15,000, while deliveries are set to commence in March 2026. Once launched, it will continue its rivalry with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Sierra, Honda Elevate, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Volkswagen Tiguan.
2026 Skoda Kushaq Facelift – What’s New?
With the mid-life facelift update, Skoda has addressed several of the Kushaq’s earlier shortcomings, while also introducing subtle cosmetic changes and new features, making it a more mature and well-rounded product than before.

- To start with, the new Kushaq boasts the brand’s “Modern Solid” design philosophy, featuring a new butterfly grille up front with a redesigned headlamp setup connected by a sleek LED light bar that runs through the grille.
- Skoda has also revised the front bumper with a new lower apron and a new skid plate design.
- Things remain largely unchanged on the sides, save for the newly designed alloy wheels.
- The rear of the 2026 Kushaq features a new, full-width LED light setup with an illuminated ‘SKODA’ lettering and sequential turn indicators.
- The tailgate and rear bumper have also been tweaked for a cleaner appearance.
- It is also important to note that the Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition is now part of the regular variant lineup right from launch, which adds some blacked-out elements and red highlights to various parts of the SUV for a sportier feel.

- The brand has also updated the user interface of the infotainment system, while a new digital driver’s display has been introduced.
- Besides, Skoda has also strengthened the variant distribution to make the entry-level trims more feature-rich.
