In the last few months, we have seen some very exciting launches, such as Triumph Speed 400, Hero Karizma XMR 210, new-gen Royal Enfield Bullet 350 and TVS Apache RTR 310. And now, the highly-anticipated Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 is all set to break covers in November this year. But ahead of its debut, the specifications of this upcoming ADV have been leaked online.
What does the leaked image reveal?
- Going by the leaked image, the upcoming Himalayan will get a new 451.65 cc, liquid-cooled engine that makes 40 PS of maximum power at 8,000 rpm. That’s 15.7 PS more than the ongoing 411cc Himalayan.
- The bike has a gross weight of 394 kg.
- Speaking of the dimensions, the new Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 will be 2245 mm long, with a wheelbase of 1510 mm.

What else to expect?
- While it’s not official, the new Himalayan is expected to be underpinned on the brand’s new K1 double-cradle platform.
- It is also anticipated to get a new 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch, a new fuel tank design with revised braces, a long-travel inverted front fork (USD), a preload swingarm-mounted rear monoshock, a more ergonomically designed split seat, an intuitive single-pod TFT colour display, an all-LED-lighting-system-and-bigger-turn-indicators.
- Expect the new Himalayan 452 to be priced at around Rs 2.8 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, it will compete head-to-head with the Yezdi Adventure, BMW G 310 GS and KTM 390 Adventure.
