Renault's entry-level Kwid hatchback has clocked 4 lakh units of sales in the Indian market since its launch in 2015. The celebratory unit of the Kwid was recently delivered to its buyer by Sudhir Malhotra – the Vice President, Marketing and Sales, Renault India.

For those who aren't aware, the Renault Kwid is available in four broad trims: RXE, RXL, RXT, and Climber, across 54PS 0.8-litre and 68PS 1.0-liter 3-cylinder petrol engines with 5-speed manual and AMT transmission options. It is widely known for its SUV-inspired design and various best-in-class features such as an 8-inch touchscreen MediaNav touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Car Play, floor console-mounted AMT dial, keyless entry, rear armrest, electrically adjustable ORVMs, day/night IRVM, dual-front airbags, driver side seatbelt with pyrotech and pretensioner, rear camera, and dual-tone body scheme, etc.
In the Indian car market, the Kwid is priced between Rs 4.11 lakh and Rs 5.59 lakh (both ex-showroom) and competes against the likes of Datsun Redi-GO, Maruti Alto, and some variants of the Maruti Celerio, WagonR, and Tata Tiago.
Currently, Renault India has more than 500 sales and 530 service touchpoints in India, which include 250+ Workshop On Wheels locations across the country.
