Prices of Renault Kiger sub-compact SUV are set to go up from the next month. The new prices will be applicable to all deliveries from 1st April, irrespective of the booking date. While there is no information about the exact price hike, it could be increased by upto Rs 30,000. As of now, the Renault Kiger is priced from Rs 5.45 lakh to Rs 9.72 lakh (ex-showroom introductory) and commanding a waiting period of upto 8 weeks in selected cities.
Renault offers the Kiger in four variants: RXE, RXL, RXT, and RXZ. All the trims can be had with dual-tone shades at an additional amount of Rs 17,000 over the monotone color model. For the people not in know, the Kiger is available in a total of six single-tone paint schemes, which includes Planet Grey, Ice Cool White, Moonlight Grey, Caspian Blue, Mahogany Brown, and Radiant Red. Except for the Radiant Red shade (exclusive for RXZ trim), all other ivories are available with all variants.
Like its cousin, Nissan Magnite, the Kiger is also a petrol-only model, available with two engine options: a 1.0-liter naturally aspirated unit (72PS/96Nm) and a 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine (100PS/160Nm). While the former can be had with either a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox, the latter comes with a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed CVT automatic option.

In terms of features, the top-spec trim of Kiger comes equipped with tri-octa LED headlamps, dual-tone alloy wheels, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless apple carplay & android auto, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, 8-speaker Arkamys audio system, a dual-glove box with one cooling unit, height-adjustable driver's seat, configurable instrument display, multiple driving modes, four airbags, etc. Besides this, Renault is also offering a wide range of customisation options for the Kiger, which includes five accessories packages – smart pack, smart+ pack, attractive pack, SUV pack, and essential pack.
Renault Kiger competes with the likes of Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Vitara Brezza, Mahindra XUV300, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Ford EcoSport, Tata Nexon, and Nissan Magnite.
