Hero Destini 125 Platinum Edition Launched At Rs 72,050

After introducing the 100 Million Celebration Editions of its various products, the Hero MotoCorp has now launched a new special edition of the Destini 125 scooter in the country, called Destini 125 Platinum Edition. This new special edition model packs a host of new design and theme elements that add to its appeal. And all these added enchantments will cost you Rs 72,050, making it Rs 1,600 more expensive than the regular alloy wheel variant (Rs 70,450). Interestingly, it is only Rs 2,00 cheaper than the Destini 125 100-Million Edition model. Here's how it stands in its variant line-up: –

Hero Destini 125 Platinum Edition – What's Special?

As mentioned above, the new Destini 125 Platinum Edition gets a host of cosmetic updates over the regular model that gives it a premium appeal. These include chrome handlebar ends, new chrome mirrors, chrome muffler protector, chrome fender stripe, premium 3D platinum badging, and colored seat with platinum hot stamping. The new special edition wears a refreshed Matt Black color with brown inner panels and a white rim tape. 

Besides these elements, no other changes have been made to the scooter. It continues to get features like signature LED guide lamps, external fuel cap, boot light with mobile charging port, combination lock, and a digital analogue speedometer with trip meter, side-stand indicator, service due reminder, etc. Along with this, the scooter also gets alloy wheels and Hero's i3S idle stop-start technology for enhanced fuel-efficiency. etc.

Powering the Platinum edition is a 125cc BS-6 compliant Programmed Fuel Injection engine with ‘XSens Technology’ that makes out 9bhp at 7000rpm and 10.4Nm of peak torque at 5500rpm.
