Engine Choices
The 2023 Nexon continues with the outgoing 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine options. However, the petrol unit is now available in as many as four transmission choices, comprising a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed AMT and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic unit. The diesel engine, however, retains the 6-speed manual and AMT choices.
Variants
Tata will offer the upgraded Nexon in seven variants: Smart, Smart +, Pure, Creative, Creative +, Fearless and Fearless + S.
Expected Price
We anticipate the 2-23 Tata Nexon facelift to command a significant price premium over its current model that retails between Rs 8 – 14.60 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, it will revive its rivalry against the likes of Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Mahindra XUV300, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger.
