Maruti Suzuki has announced yet another price hike of up to Rs 30,000 across its lineup, effective from August 2026. This will be the third price hike for Maruti Suzuki cars in 2026, with the most recent one announced in June by a similar amount.
in a regulatroy filling at stock exchange, Maruti Suzuki attributed consistent commodity inflation and rising input costs as the key drivers behind the price hike move. The carmaker stated it made an effort to absorb cost increases through internal efficiency measures and cost-reduction initiatives. However, continued burden on operating margins led to “passing a fraction of the cost burden on to the market”.
As of now, Maruti Suzuki hasn’t announced the exact price hike for each model. The price hike will vary depending on the specific model and variant.
