ICE-Powered Tata Curvv Revealed At Auto Expo 2023

– Will be positioned between Nexon and Harrier.

– Production likely to be commenced in 2024.

As a highlight of Tata Motors’ Auto Expo 2023 pavilion, the petrol-powered Curvv SUV concept is on display. Based on the same Generation EV2 platform as its electric version, it is a 5-seater SUV coupe that is likely to be launched by 2024. It will slot between the Nexon and Harrier in the brand’s current product lineup and will go up against the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and Maruti Grand Vitara.

Similar to its electric version, the Tata Curvv flaunts the brand’s latest digital design philosophy. However, it looks like a more toned-down version of its earlier showcased electric concept version. However, it continues to grab attention with its futuristic design, with notable traits like triangular-shaped LED headlamps, width covering LED light bar up front, coupe-like silhouette, chunky wheel arches and the LED taillight strip complementing its overall appearance.

The minimalistic styling continues inside, beginning with the sleeker dashboard with an LED light bar covering the width. Two floating screens are also present, one for the touchscreen infotainment and one for the instrumentation cluster. The other notable bits of the Tata Curvv Petrol include a two-spoke steering wheel and a large panoramic glass roof.

Tata Curvv petrol (ICE model)

While the technical specifications of the Tata Curvv ICE are scarce at the moment, it is expected to get a petrol engine with both manual and automatic transmission options. A CNG powertrain could also be on the cards.
