Ola Electric announced the arrival of an all-new product on October 22, 2022, just a day before the Dhanteras festival. It could be a more affordable version of the S1 electric scooter that is likely to be priced under Rs 80,000, making it a green alternative to the 110cc scooters like TVS Jupiter and Honda Activa 6G.
Reports are suggesting that the upcoming Ola scooter will carry forward most of the features from the S1. However, it will equip a smaller battery pack with a possible claimed range of roughly 100 kilometres per charge.
In addition to a new electric scooter, Ola will also roll out the MoveOS 3 over-the-air (OTA) software update by Diwali this year that will bring a host of new features for the S1 Pro scooter, some of which were promised at the time of its launch. These will include proximity lock/unlock, hyper charging support, call assist, voice assist, hill hold assist, digital key sharing, multilevel regenerative braking, artificial engine sounds, onboard document storage, multiple themes for the rider’s display, etc.
