Ola S1 Pro To Get Its First OTA Update (MoveOS 2.0) On This Date

We have good news for Ola S1 Pro customers! Bhavish Aggarwal, the CEO of Ola Electric, announced on Twitter that the company will release the first OTA update, MoveOS 2.0, for its electric scooter on June 18-19, 2022, during a consumer event that will be held at Ola’s manufacturing facility called Futurefactory.

As revealed earlier, the first set of OTA updates will enable some of the key features that were promised with the S1 Pro during its launch. These include a companion mobile app, Bluetooth connectivity, music control, onboard navigation, cruise control, and other performance features. That means, you can now enjoy music on the go on your Ola S1 Pro speakers. In addition, the dedicated app will enable Ola customers to lock/unlock their electric scooters through their smartphones. You could also use the app to monitor the battery status, open & close the trunk, check vehicle-related information, and much more.

The Ola MoveOS 2.0 OTA update will also bring a new riding mode called ”ECO” which will extend the daily running range to over 165 kilometers from the current claim of 135 kilometers in Normal mode. However, it will also restrict the top speed to 45kmph.

Ola Electric is yet to share any words on the activation of hill hold assist, geo-fencing, voice control, anti-theft, and charging station locator. Hopefully, the company will also roll out these features soon.
