As the above table reveals, the Dynamic Line variants will only come with a 1.0-liter TSI petrol engine, whereas the 1.5-liter TSI engine will be restricted to the top-spec GT trim only. The latter won’t get any manual transmission option.

Talking about their specifications, the 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder, TSI (Turbo Stratified Injection) petrol engine generates 115PS of maximum power and 178Nm of peak torque, whereas the 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder TSI motor is good enough in generating 150PS and 250Nm. The higher capacity mill also gets an Active Cylinder Technology (ACT), which shuts two of four cylinders in low load conditions to ensure the maximum fuel saving.

For those who aren’t aware, both these engines also power various other VW-Skoda models like Skoda Kushaq, Slavia, and VW Taigun.
