Ola Electric To Open 200 Showrooms By March 2023

Using the Ola App and its official website, currently Ola Electric sells its electric scooters exclusively online. Now, the company’s CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal, has revealed Ola’s plans to open over 200 offline showrooms called ‘Experience Centres’  by March 2023 across India. As per Bhavish, 20 centers have already been set up.

As per the brand’s official website, currently, these Ola EV centers are located in eight cities namely Belgaum, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Kolhapur, Mangalore, Pune, and Thrissur. They operate between 9 am to 8 pm, and interested customers can walk in for information about purchasing Ola scooters, taking test rides, obtaining financing, and getting after-sales support.

Through its online sales platform, Ola Electric earlier intended to disrupt conventional sales channels by vending directly to consumers, but Indian consumers prefer to shop automobiles offline at showrooms where they can see, feel & ride the products before they make a purchase. And so the company had to change its approach. This will help the brand to earn more customer trust, and consumers will be able to physically contact the company for clarification of any concerns they may have.
