Oben Rorr Evo Launched At Rs 1 Lakh; Claims 180Km On Single Charge

Oben has launched the Rorr Evo electric motorcycle at an introductory price of Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom), valid for the first 10,000 customers. After that, the bike will cost Rs 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom). The brand has started accepting its bookings for just Rs 777, while deliveries & test rides are slated to commence from June 2026.

What Powers The Oben Rorr Evo?

  • Based on Oben’s existing ARX platform, the Rorr Evo features a new in-house developed i-PMSM motor that does not use rare earth materials.
  • It uses a chain drive system to propel the rear wheel of the bike.
  • The power source of this electric streetfighter is a 3.4kWh LFP battery, which is claimed to offer 50% higher heat resistance and double lifecycle compared to conventional lithium-ion batteries. In fact, the brand has stated the battery has been tsted at temperatures upto 280 degree celsium.
  • Its IDC range is rated at 180 km on a single charge.
  • Its 9kW motor offers a peak wheel torque of 250Nm, enabling the motorcycle to do the 0 to 40 kmph run in just 5 seconds before attaining a top speed of 110 kmph.

  • Projector headlamp with horizontal DRL
  • A 5-inch TFT cluster with Bluetooth connectivity providing navigation, ride data, smart alerts for call, text and music, geo-fencing, remote diagnostics, theft protection, ‘Find My Rorr’ and 24×7 service support
  • Four riding modes: Eco, Road, Havoc, and Smart IQ, out of which the latter uses AI to estimate range based on riding patterns.
  • Fall alert with emergency assist
  • Two USB charging port

Warranty

Oben is providing an 8-years warranty on its battery pack to gain buyers trust and reinforcing long-term ownership confidence.
