What Is Nissan Tekton?
The Nissan Tekton is the brand’s first all-new product as part of its revival plans. It shares its underpinnings and powertrain with the recently launched Renault Duster.
Nissan Tekton – Exterior Design
- Nissan has done a pretty good job of making the Tekton look different from the Renault Duster, especially from the front. In fact, the front fascia takes some of its design cues from the flagship Nissan Patrol SUV, featuring a large rectangular grille with two chrome strips and a connected LED light bar above it. Furthermore, there are C-shaped LED projector headlamps and a dual-tone bumper with chunky grey cladding, giving it a rough look.
- It also features a sculpted bonnet for a tougher appearance.

- While its silhouette looks largely similar to the Duster, it features distinct 18-inch alloy wheels.
- The rear features a connected LED tail-lamp setup, a roof-mounted spoiler, and a chunkier dual-tone bumper.
Dimensions
- The Tekton is 4348mm long, 1815mm wide, and 1674mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2657mm.
- It has a ground clearance of 212mm, an approach angle of 27 degrees and a departure angle of 35 degrees.
Interior Design and Features
Inside, the Nissan Tekton features the same dashboard layout as the Duster; however, it comes in four different cabin themes, including a premium-looking dual-tone black & beige hue.

In terms of features, the Tekton comes decently loaded with key amenities, including: –
- A 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with built-in Google apps
- Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
- A 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster
- Dual-zone climate control
- Rear AC vents
- Powered & ventilated front seats
- Manual lumbar support for the driver’s seat
- One-touch up & down function for all power windows
- Panoramic sunroof
- 48-colour ambient lighting
- Powered tailgate
- Multiple driving modes
- Auto-dimming IRVM
- 6 airbags
- Front & rear parking sensors
- 360-degree camera with blind-spot assist
- Electronic parking brake (EPB)
- Hill assist
- Traction control
- Level-2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) suite, along with a dedicated physical button to switch to your personalised ADAS settings
Nissan Tekton will also offer a similar level of protection as the Renault Duster, which has already secured a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP.
