Nissan India has teased the upcoming Magnite Kuro Edition ahead of its expected launch in October 2023. Its bookings have also been commenced.
Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition – What To Expect?
- Similar to the recently launched Renault Kiger Urban Night Edition, the upcoming Kuro Edition is essentially a blacked-out version of the Magnite.
- It is expected to be based on the top-spec XV variant.
- Expect it to receive an all-black paint scheme both inside and outside, along with sportier red highlights for added appeal.
- It could also receive some additional features over the standard model.

New AMT Option Incoming
Mechanically, the Kuro Edition is likely to be offered with both 1-litre naturally aspirated (72PS/96Nm) and turbo-petrol (100PS/up to 160Nm) engine options. While a 5-speed manual transmission is standard across the lineup, the turbo-petrol mill can also be had with a CVT automatic transmission. Reports are suggesting that the Magnite Kuro Edition could also receive a new Automatic Manual Transmission (AMT) for the naturally aspirated motor.
Expect the regular variants of the Nissan Magnite to also receive this new powertrain combination. We anticipate the AMT variant to command a premium of Rs 55,000 over their manual counterparts.
