The next-generation Royal Enfield Classic 350 is in the works for quite some time now. And now, it seems that the wait for this highly-anticipated roadster is going to end pretty soon. If reports are to be believed, this new motorcycle from the Chennai-based bikemaker is likely to hit showroom floors on August 27, 2021. However, the brand is yet to make any official announcement for the same.
For those who are not aware, the upcoming iteration of RE Classic 350 will be the biggest update of the bike to date. It is expected to be based on the brand’s new J Platform (debuted with the Meteor 350) and will get a more powerful 349cc counterbalanced engine (20PS/27Nm), an updated instrument cluster with a Tripper navigation pod, fresh switchgear, better cushioning, and new color schemes with refreshed graphics.
Styling-wise, it will unquestionably be the typical Classic 350, courtesy of the round halogen headlamp, circular taillights, and indicators, etc. Click here for more details.
Needless to say, all this will come at an inflated price. Expect the 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 to carry a premium of around Rs 6000 to Rs 8000 over its ongoing model that currently retails from Rs 1.79 lakh to Rs 2.06 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
With the launch of a new-generation model, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 will renew its rivalry against the likes of the Honda H’Ness CB350, Benelli Imperiale 400, and the Jawa.
