New Skoda Kodiaq Variant Details Revealed; Launch On April 17

Skoda India is gearing up to launch the new-generation Kodiaq on April 17, 2025. However, ahead of its launch, the Czech automaker has revealed the variant lineup of the upcoming SUV. The refreshed three-row SUV will be offered in two trims – L&K (Laurin & Klement) and Sportline. A different cosmetic treatment sets apart these variants.

For those unaware, the L&K variant has been named after the founders of Skoda. Being a luxury-focused trim, it emphasises comfort and premium materials. On the other hand, the Sportline focuses on dynamic styling and sport-inspired interiors. Having said that, it gets black-out treatment for the grille, ORVMs, roofrails, and rear bumper. It also gets sportier designed alloy wheels.

Powering the new Skoda Kodiaq will be the same 2-litre turbocharged petrol engine that produces 204 PS of maximum power and 320 Nm of peak torque. It will come mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Globally, the Kodiaq also gets a 150PS 1.5-litre turbo-petrol with mild-hybrid tech and a 2-litre diesel engine option that comes in 150PS (FWD) and 193PS (AWC) tunes.
