Ather Energy is gearing up to launch the Rizta electric scooter, along with the Ather Stack 6 OTA updates and the ‘Halo’ smart accessory, on April 6, 2024, during the Ather Community Day event in Bengaluru. Ahead of their arrival, the EV manufacturer has released two teasers on its social media platforms, hinting what the new Ather Stack 6 and Halo smart accessory will offer.
Ather Stack 6 OTA Updates
- In the teaser video, we can see that the 2×2 Rubik cube trasnfroms into a 5×5 set, unveiling a range of new colours. This hints at potential display modes with colour backgrounds.
- The video further showcases a popcorn packet, implying the potential to watch videos and reels directly on the rider’s display.
- Keen eyes could also notice a sticky note on the desk that reads ”texting”, suggesting a new feature that will enable users to respond to text messages using the instrument console when the vehicle is stationary. Earlier, the company’s CEO has also confirmed the arrival of this feature.
Ather Halo Smart Accessory
In a separate post, Ather has revealed that user will have the option to play music while riding. However, they have confirmed that they won’t be incorporating speakers into the scooters. This suggests that the company will introduce a new smart helment called ‘HALO’, with built-in speakers and microphones that will enable you to enjoy the music and answer calls while on the go.
This is expected to be offered as an optional accessory and likely to be compatible with all Ather scooters.
