Mahindra, the SUV maker, is gearing up to launch the successor versions of XUV500 and Scorpio. Currently, they are in the testing phase and have been spied numerous times. The new Scorpio is likely to launch after the next-gen XUV500. But ahead of its debut, news is coming out that Mahindra can add a "Sting" suffix in its name.
As per the reports, Mahindra has recently trademarked four different nomenclature in India – 'Sting', 'The Sting', 'The Scorpio Sting' & 'Scorpio Sting'. This move clearly suggests that the homegrown maker is looking for a new title for the upcoming SUV. There are also anticipations that the brand will continue to sell the current Scorpio alongside the new-gen model. Hence, the new name will help distinguish both the models.
