Mahindra Thar Waiting Period: Will You Get Delivery By Diwali?

Mahindra has launched the second generation Thar last month and as expected it's getting an overwhelming response. The new Thar has just crossed over the 15,000 bookings mark in just 18 days. In fact, it reached 9,000 bookings within the first five days of launch.

Bookings for the Mahindra Thar can be made either online or at authorized Mahindra dealerships for a token amount of Rs 21,000. However, the high demand also leads to long waiting periods and the case is no different for the 2020 Mahindra Thar. Currently, it is commanding a waiting period of up to 5 months, depending on the variant and rooftop options. If you're looking to buy this hardcore off-roader this festive season, hence, for your convenience here we have listed its rooftop-wise waiting period so you can make your purchase plan according to it:

Mahindra Thar Waiting Period
Soft top 6-8 weeks
Convertible top 8-11 weeks
Hard Top 22-22 weeks

Note:- It is important to note that the waiting period may vary depending upon the variant/model, city, dealership, and color chosen. Deliveries of the new Thar will start from November 1, 2020.

As per the reports, the hard top-line trim of Mahindra Thar stands highest on the popularity charts and that clearly reflects in its waiting period. On the other hand, the soft top trims are in the least demand but still, its waiting period ranges between 42 and 56 days.
