The Indian automotive market is set for another action packed month, with several new cars & SUVs are set to make their debut in June 2026. From imported strong-hybrids and premium EVs to high-end luxury cars, automakers are gearing up to strengthen their portfolios. That said, here’s a look at all the upcoming cars & SUVs expected to launch/debut in India in June 2026: –
Mercedes-Benz S-Class Facelift
- Launch Date: 15 June 2026
Mercedes-Benz has confirmed that it will launch the facelifted S-Class in India on June 15. It is expected to undergo subtle cosmetic enhancements, along with some notable technological updates to keep it up to date. Some of the key changes will include a larger grille with tiny chrome stars, larger headlamps with tristar DRLs, fresh alloy wheel designs, and the brand’s latest MBUX infotainment system, ADAS features, and a luxurious rear-seat experience. It could also get fresh colour options.
Another major highlight will be a plug-in hybrid powertrain, which could comprise a 3.0-litre turbo-petrol inline-six cyclinder engine paired with an electric motor powered by a 22kWh battery.
Mini Cooper Countryman C
- Launch Date: 17 June 2026
Mini is all set to launch the Countryman C in India this month, with bookings for the SUV are already underway. It will share its design with the Countryman electric with a slightly revised grille and bumpers.
Powering it will be a 1.5-litre, direct-injection, turbo-petrol engine, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Expect it to come loaded with amenities like a 9.4-inch circular OLED touchscreen infotainment system, a Harman Kardon sound system, a heads-up display and paddleshifters.
The locally assembled 2026 Mini Countryman C will go up against the BMW X1, Audi Q3 and Mercedes-Benz GLA in the country.
Honda ZR-V Hybrid
- Launch Timeline: By June-end (expected)

Honda has recently unveiled the ZR-V hybrid SUV in the country, with its bookings are already open. Now, the Japanese carmaker is expected to announce its prices in the coming weeks. Positioned as the brand’s flagship offering in the country, the ZR-V will be brought to our shores via the CBU route. It will be offered in limited numbers.
Powering the ZR-V will be a 2-litre petrol engine paired with a self-charging hybrid system, which is claimed produces a combined output of 184PS and 315Nm. Transmission duties will be taken care of by an e-CVT automatic transmission, powering all-four-wheels of the SUV. It claims a fuel efficiency of 22.79 km/l.
BYD PHEV
- Launch Timeline: 9 June 2026

BYD is gearing up to launch its first plug-in-hybrid SUV in the country and it is expected to be the Sealion 6, as it has already been spotted testing in the country.
Globally, the Sealion 6 comes with 1.5-litre NA and turbo-petrol engine options, both of which are available with an 18.3 kWh and 26.6kWh battery. Of these, the 1.5 NA PHEV setup is exclusively FWD, delivering a combined output of 218PS and offering an NEDC-tested all-electric range of up to 140km. In contrast, the 1.5-lutre turbo-petrol PHEV comes with AWD as standard, delivering up to 344hp and an all-electric range of up to 128km. As for combined driving range, it claims 1,092km for the Sealion 6 PHEV.
Tata Sierra EV
- Launch Timeline: Expected by June-end

After the updated Tiago EV, Tata’s next all-electric offering will be the Sierra EV, expected to launch this month. It is likely to be offered with two battery pack options, along with both rear-wheel-drive (RWD) and all-wheel-drive (AWD) systems. Expect it to offer a real-world range of over 400km on a single charge.
