2026 Honda ZR-V Hybrid Incoming; Bookings Now Open

Alongside the launch of the 2026 Honda City facelift, the Japanese carmaker has also unveiled a new model for the Indian market, the ZR-V.

  • Bookings for this 5-seater hybrid SUV are now open, while deliveries are slated to begin in July this year.
  • It will be made available in limited numbers via the CBU route, with prices likely to range around Rs 40-45 lakh (ex-showroom).
  • Once launched, it will serve as the brand’s flagship model in the country.

Honda ZR-V Hybrid: Engine and Mileage Details

  • Powering the Honda ZR-V is a 2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, paired with a strong-hybrid setup and all-wheel-drive system, producing a combined power output of 184PS and a peak torque of 315Nm.
  • The SUV can complete the 0-100 km/h run in just 8 seconds before attaining an electronically limited top speed of 172 km/h.
  • Its fuel efficiency is rated at 22.79 km/l.

Honda ZR-V: Design, Dimensions, and Features

  • The Honda ZR-V Hybrid features a sporty design with sharp lines and sleek bodywork, dominated by a Maserati-like, sleek octagonal grille with vertical slats. Furthermore, its long bonnet, wide track, sloping roofline, and clean surfaces provide it with a spirited and planted feel.
  • Speaking of the dimensions, it is 4,568mm long, 1,840mm wide, 1,620mm tall and has a wheelbase of 2,655mm.
  • Inside, the ZR-V has a clean, uncluttered design, featuring amenities like a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.25-inch digital cluster, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, BOSE sound system, an 8-way powered driver seat, a 4-way powered front passenger seat, a powered tailgate, ambient lighting and a 360-degree camera.
  • Its safety kit comprises 8 airbags, a tyre-pressure monitoring system (TPMS), hill assist, and a Level 2 ADAS (advanced driver assistance systems) suite.

Colour Options

The Indian-spec Honda ZR-V will be offered in four colour options: Crystal Black Pearl, Platinum White Pearl, Meteoroid Grey Metallic and Twilight Mist Black Pearl.

Competition Check

Once launched, the ZR-V will be positioned against the Volkswagen Tiguan, Skoda Kodiaq and Jeep Meridian.
