MG ZS EV Gets A New New Entry-Level Variant At Rs 18.98 Lakh

MG Motor India has introduced a new entry-level variant for the ZS EV named EXECUTIVE, available at Rs 18.98 lakh (ex-showroom). This makes it Rs 3.9 lakh more affordable than the Excite variant, which was priced at Rs 22.28 lakh earlier. However, the prices of the entire lineup have now been reduced. Here’s a look at the updated price list: –

MG ZS EV Executive – What Features Does It Offer?

Despite being a base-spec variant, the new MG ZS EV Executive variant comes decently loaded, with key highlights including automatic full LED headlamps with DRLs, LED taillights, 17-inch alloy wheels, rear spoiler, shark fin antenna, leather-wrapped interior, digital instrument cluster, rear spoiler, push button start/stop, multiple driving modes – Eco, Sport & Normal, auto AC, rear AC vents, PM 2.5 filter, cruise control, automatic headlamps, rain sensing wipers, power-adjustable side mirrors, adjustable headrests, front & rear armrests, 10-inch touchscreen infotainment with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, steering mounted controls, 6 airbags, rear parking camera, ESC, hill hol & descent assist, electric parking brakes with auto-hold, TPMS, 3-point seat belts, rear wiper with defogger, ISOFIX anchors and much more.

Powering the MG ZS EV Executive variant is the same 50.3kWh battery pack linked with a front wheel-driven electric motor rated at 176PS/280Nm, enabling it to do the 0-100kmph sprint in just 8.5 seconds. It claims a driving range of 461km on a single charge.

Regarding charging, the EV can be juiced up from 0 to 80 per cent in just 50 minutes via a 50kW DC fast charger.

Competitors

In the premium electric SUV segment, the MG ZS EV faces competition from the Hyundai Kona Electric and BYD Atto 3.
