MG To Install 1,000 EV Chargers In 1,000 Days

MG Motor India has announced a new program called the ”MG Charge” to establish 1,000 chargers for electric vehicles (EVs) across the country’s residential areas in 1,000 days, i.e, by 2025. The brand will collaborate with resident welfare associations (RWAs) and install SIM-enabled Type 2 AC fast chargers, which will be operational around the clock and will be supported by a remote Charger Management System. These can be used for non-MG electric cars as well.

MG claims that this will encourage more buyers to adopt the EV lifestyle as it address the charging concern of the customers.

The brand will introduce its facelifted version on March 7, which is likely to support up to 100kW DC fast charging that can energise its battery up to 80 percent in only 36 mins. Besides, the updated ZS EV will also receive new design, more features, and a bigger battery for improved driving range. Click here for more details.
