MG India Introduces “Service On Wheels” For Doorstep Car Repair And Maintenance

MG India has launched the ‘Service On Wheels’ facility as a pilot project in Rajkot, Gujarat, with plans to extend it to more locations across India in the near future.

Under the ‘Service On Wheels’ initiative, MG Motors has introduced a mobile workshop on a van that comes with all the necessary tools and technologies such as a hydraulic scissor lift attached to a hydraulic power pack, an air compressor with a washing pump, and additional provision for dry wash, a digital oil dispenser, a waste oil collection tank, and a pneumatic line with a filter-regulator-lubricator (FRL), etc., to carry out periodic maintenance, minor service, repairs, and other jobs for all MG SUVs. The workshop vehicle will also be equipped with a fully stacked spare parts rack, a wheel balancer with a slider, an electric control box, and a first-aid box.

These services will be carried out by fully trained & certified technicians supported by MG’s seamless customer support. This will strengthen MG’s service network and expand its reach across the existing markets.

To avail of the doorstep car services, customers will be required to schedule their job/maintenance in advance via the company’s online network or through the customer’s service center.
