JSW MG Motor India has launched the much-awaited plug-in hybrid electric version (PHEV) of the Hector Tomahawk, alongside its all-electric version. Offered in two 7-seater variants, the Hector Tomahawk PHEV is priced from Rs 25.70 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom). With this, it has become India’s first mass-market PHEV offering.

Bookings for the Hector Tomahawk PHEV are now open, while its deliveries are expected to commence in November this year.

MG Hector Tomahawk PHEV: Design and Features

The Hector Tomahawk PHEV looks largely identical to its EV version, save for a few visual distinctions, like a reworked front fascia featuring a large black grille and reworked bumper, large rectangular taillamps and a more contemporary design for the rear bumper with a silver skid plate.

Inside, it gets a similar dashboard layout to its electric counterpart, albeit with a distinct black and burgundy colour scheme and physical AC controls which aren’t available in the EV.

Competition Check
