MG Established 50+ AC Fast Chargers In 15 Cities On World EV Day

On the World EV Day, MG Motor India installed over 50 AC fast chargers for EVs at more than 25 residential areas and corporate offices across 15 metropolitan cities of the country. This move was a part of the brand’s ‘MG Charge’ initiative that strives to boost the EV charging infrastructure in India by installing residential chargers to develop a seamless charging experience for the community.

For those who aren’t aware, MG Motor has also tied up with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), Jio-bp, and Castro to create an EV ecosystem across the country.

Currently, MG has ZS EV in its electric vehicle lineup that is available in two variants: Excite and Exclusive, priced at Rs 22.00 lakh and Rs 25.88 lakh, respectively. It comes with a 50.3kWh of a battery pack that claims an ARAI-tested range of 461km on a single charge.

The carmaker is also expected to launch a new compact electric car in India that is likely to be based on the Wuling Air EV. Click here for more details.
