MG Comet EV To Offers 230Km of Range; Specs Leaked

As we all eagerly await the unveiling of the MG Comet EV, the detailed brochure of this tiny electric vehicle featuring its batter, range figures and other crucial details has surfaced on the web. This 2-door compact EV is poised to take the mass-market urban buyers by storm, and these figures only strengthen its appeal. So, without any more suspense, let’s dive in!

  • The Comet EV will get a 17.3kWh battery pack, which promises a driving range of 230km on a single charge.
  • Propulsion duties will be taken care of by a rear-mounted electric motor, rated at 42PS and 110Nm.
  • Juicing up this compact EV with a 3.3kW charger will take approximately 7 hours for a full charge, while 10-80% charge can be achieved in just 5 hours.
  • It is also expected to get fast charging capabilities.
  • Dimensionally, the Comect measures 2974mm long, 1505mm wide, and 1640mm tall and poses a wheelbase of 2,010mm.
  • It rolls on 12-inch wheels shod with 145/70 section tyres.
  • The EV can accommodate up to four people, including the driver.
  • Braking responsibilities will be handled by disc brakes at the front and drums at the rear
