MG Motor’s Creta-rivaling Astor SUV is no longer offered in the Spiced Orange colour scheme. With this, its revised colour palette now includes Aurora Silver, Glaze Red, Havana Grey, Candy White, Starry Black and Candy White. The latter can also be paired with an optional black roof & ORVMs.
MG hasn’t revealed whether this discontinued colour will be replaced by any new shade.

Apart from this, no changes have been made to the SUV. It will continue to be offered in five variants, namely Style, Super, Smart and Savvy, priced between Rs 10.82 lakh and Rs 18.69 lakh (ex-showroom).
MG offers the Astor with two engine options: a 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol (140PS/220Nm) paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox, and a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol (110PS/144Nm) paired with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic transmission.
Regarding features, the Astor comes loaded with the following comfort and safety features: –

- 10-inch infotainment with connected car tech
- 6-way powered driver’s seat
- Panoramic sunroof
- Auto AC
- Six airbags
- Electronic stability control (ESC)
- Hill assist
- 360-degree camera
- Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), which includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, high-beam assist, lane-keep assist, lane departure assist and blind-spot detection.
In the mid-size SUV segment, the MG Astor takes on the likes of Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Toyota Hyryder, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Hyundai Creta.
