Mercedes-Benz EQB 350 Electric SUV Launched In India

The Mercedes-Benz EQB 350 electric SUV has finally been launched in India at Rs 77.50 lakh (ex-showroom), replacing the EQB 300 from its lineup.

What Powers The EQB 350?

  • Powering the Mercedes Benz EQB 350 is a 66.5 kWh battery pack linked to two electric motors, with one motor situated on each axle, delivering a combined output of 292PS and 520Nm.
  • This arrangement enables the EQB 350 to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.2 seconds before reaching a top speed of 160 kmph.

Range and Charging Time

  • This German electrified SUV offers an impressive range of 423 km on a single charge.
  • Using a 100kW DC charger, its 66.5 kWh, 420V lithium-ion battery pack can be charged from 10-80% in simply 32 minutes. However, an 11 kW wall box home charger will take around 6.25 hours to charge the battery completely.

Design and Features

  • Speaking of the design, the EQB showcases a sleek black panel grille at the front, escorted by a continuous LED strip that imparts a futuristic aesthetic. A similar LED feature is also present at the rear, emphasising the car’s width.
  • Against the measuring tape, the Mercedes EQB gauges 4684mm in length, 1,834mm in width, and 1,667mm in height, with the wheelbase stretching to 2,829mm.
