Mercedes Benz has finally brought the AMG C 63 S E Performance to our shores at Rs 1.95 crore (ex-showroom). Its bookings are now open, while deliveries will commence from the second quarter of 2025. Here’s explore what this new AMG sedan has on offer: –

- Being an Aufrecht, Melcher and Großaspach model, the new AMG C 63 S E looks more aggressive and sportier than the standard C-Class, featuring a Panamericana front grille with vertical slats, boldly styled air dams with piano black garnish, aggressively designed bumper and sleek LED headlamps.
- Similar to other Mercedes models, the new AMG C 63 S E Performance features a black AMG badge replacing the usual Mercedes star.
- Two electronically controlled air intakes located behind the grille and in the bumper adjust airflow as required.
- The other notable design highlights include 20-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels wrapped around in low profile tyres, LED taillights, dual exhaust tips, boot mounted spoiler and the new diffuser, all elevating its sporty quotient.

Mercedes-AMG C 63 S E Performance – Interior and Features
- Inside, the dashboard layout is similar to the C-Class, albiet features AMG-specific elements like sports seats and AMG steering.
- Regarding features, it gets MBUX-powered vertically oriented infotainment with wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay, connected car technology, digital driver’s display, panoramic sunroof, a Burmester sound system, a heads-up display (HUD), multi-zone climate control, and driving modes, including Electric, Comfort, Sport, Sport+, Race, and Individual, each adjusts throttle response, suspension and other dynamics for versatility.
- It also gets AMG Ride Control+ with adaptive damping for customized handling. Interested buyers can also get the optional AMG track pace to record and analyse performance on the track. Mercedes also offers a drift mode and rear-axle steering for enhanced agility.
Mercedes-AMG C 63 S E Performance – Powertrain
- At the heart of the AMG C 63 S E Performance is a Formula-1-derived 2-litre, 4-cylinder petrol hybrid engine equipped with an electric exhaust gas turbocharger and a 204PS electric motor on the rear axle, offering a combined power output of 680PS and 1,020Nm.
- Transmission duties are handled by a 9-speed automatic transmission propelling all four wheels, enabling the sedan to hit 0-100 kmph in just 3.4 seconds. Furthermore, its 6.1 kWh battery pack offers a pure electric range of up to 13 kilometres on a single charge.
