Maruti Suzuki WagonR WALTZ Edition Launched At Rs 5.65 Lakh

The Maruti WagonR Waltz Edition has been launched, with prices starting at Rs 5.65 lakh (ex-showroom). While its full price list is yet to be revealed, it will be offered across LXi, VXi and ZXi variants of the hatchback. The special edition model brings some cosmetic enhancements and new features to the WagonR.

Maruti WagonR Waltz Edition – What’s New?

The WagonR Waltz Edition showcases new design enhancements inside and out. These include: –

  • Fog lamps with chrome garnish
  • Front grille chrome garnish
  • Wheel arch cladding
  • Bumper protectors
  • Side skirts
  • Body side moulding
  • Designer floor mat
  • Designer seat cover
  • Interior styling kit

All these features enhance the aesthetic of the popular tall-boy hatchback. To further elevate its practicality, the brand is also offering amenities like a door sill guard, a 6.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a tissue box, a two-port smartphone charger, and a reverse parking camera.

Maruti WagonR Waltz Edition – Powertrain Option

Being an accessorised version, the WagonR Waltz Edition is available with all the powertrain options of the hatchback. These include the 67PS 1-litre and 90PS 1.2-litre DualJet DualVVT petrol engines, offered with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT unit. Additionally, you can also opt for the factory-fitted CNG kit with the 1-litre petrol-manual combination.

Competition Check

In the compact hatchback segment, the Maruti WagonR faces competition from the Tata Tiago and select variants of the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios.
