Maruti Suzuki eVitara: Design and Dimensions
Based on the all-new born EV skateboard platform dubbed “eHeartect”, the eVitara measures 4275mm long, 1800mm wide and 1635mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2700mm and a minimum ground clearance of 180mm. Maruti Suzuki has co-developed this platform with Toyota.
Compared to the recently unveiled Creta Electric, the eVitara has a 90mm longer wheelbase. The EV rides 18-inch alloy wheels shod with 225/55 section tyres.
Design-wise, Suzuki has taken a conservative approach, featuring sharper angles and cuts providing it a muscular and rugged appearance. The base of the vehicle boasts a generous amount of cladding, with tri-slash LED lighting elements at both ends, charging ports on the front-left flank and a prominent bulge over the rear wheel arch.
