Maruti Suzuki Cars To Get Costlier From January 2023

  • The price jump is slated to come into effect from the new year.
  • The quantum of the price hike could vary depending on the model and its variants.  
  • An upsurge in overall input costs has been quoted as the reason for the price hike. 

A price hike has been announced by Maruti Suzuki for its entire product lineup that will come into effect in January 2023. The carmaker has cited increases in various input costs over the past year as the key reason for the upcoming price revision move. Different models are expected to experience different price gains.

Currently, Maruti Suzuki has fifteen cars in its lineup across Arena and Nexa ranges. These include Alto, Alto K10, S-Presso, Eeco, Celerio, Wagon R, Swift, Dzire, Ignis, Baleno, Brezza, Ciaz, Ertiga, XL6, and Grand Vitara. Here’s a look at their longing price range: –

Maruti Suzuki Passenger Cars India Lineup

In other news, the Maruti Suzuki recorded a total sales of 1,32,395 units last month as opposed to 109,726 units during the same period last year. The Indo-Japanese carmaker is also expected to launch the CNG iteration of its flagship Grand Vitara mid-size SUV soon which is likely to return a fuel efficiency of 26.1km/kg.
