What Powers Maruti Jimny?

Powering the Maruti Jimny is Suzuki’s 1.5-litre petrol engine that makes 105PS and 134Nm. It can be paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed torque converter automatic transmission. It gets Suzuki’s AllGrip 4WD system as standard.

Author’s Take

The Jimny Thunder Edition is Maruti Suzuki’s aggressive move to captivate those eyeing the Mahindra Thar, making it Rs 24,000 cheaper than the base-spec AX RWD trim and an impressive Rs 4 lakh cheaper than the RWD LX petrol trim.
