Maruti Eeco Gets Six Airbags and a New 6 Seater Variant

After the Celerio, Alto K10 and Grand Vitara, the Maruti Eeco has now been updated with six airbags. This new safety feature will be offered as standard fitment across its variant lineup. Additionally, the brand has also introduced this affordable van in a new 6-seater variant, replacing the 7-seater version. However, its price is yet to be revealed.

Maruti Eeco, in the new 6-seater configuration, features two captain seats in the second row and a front-facing bench seat in the last row. Besides, it continues to be offered in a 5-seater layout, which gets a bench seat in the 2nd row and a large boot space.

Aside from the above-mentioned changes, the Maruti Eeco remains unchanged. It continues to feature the same boxy, upright design, with a halogen lighting system, unpainted blacked-out bumpers, sliding doors in the rear and 13-inch steel wheels.

Inside, it gets a dual-tone dashboard that is reminiscent of the old-gen Alto. Regarding features, the Eeco comes kitted with a semi-digital cluster with a monotone MID, manual AC with heater, halogen cabin lights, 3-point seat belts for all, seatbelt reminder, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors and Electronics Stability Program (ESP).

It skips basic amenities like power windows, power ORVMs, adjustable headrests, a music system, a height-adjustable driver seat and day/night IRVM.
