- Perla Nera Black exterior paint scheme.
- Dark treatment for all the chrome elements such as badging, grille, and side body mouldings.

Citroen C3, Aircross and Basalt – Features Onboard
Being purely cosmetic updates, the Dark Editions do not get any new feature addition. They continue to get amenities like LED projector headlamps, a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, a 7-inch digital display, steering-mounted controls, auto AC, remote keyless entry, six airbags, a tire pressure monitoring system and a rearview camera.
Powertrain Choices
Mechanically, all these cars remain unchanged. They continue to get the same powertrain options as earlier.
Engine | 1.2-litre Naturally Aspirated petrol | 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol |
Max Power | 82 PS | 110 PS |
Peak Torque | 115 Nm | Up to 205 Nm |
Transmission | 5-speed manual | 6-speed manual/ 6-speed torque converter automatic |
While the C3 comes with both engine options on the top trim, the Basalt and Aircross are limited to the turbocharged engine on the higher variant.

Competition Check
While the Citroen C3 takes on the likes of Tata Punch and Hyundai Exter, the Aircross can be seen as an affordable alternative to the mid-size SUVs like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and Maruti Grand Vitara. On the other hand, the Basalt can be seen as an affordable alternative to the Tata Curvv.
