2025 Maruti WagonR Lauched With Six Airbags

India’s highest-selling car, the Maruti Suzuki WagonR, has been updated for 2025 with six airbags. They will be offered as standard fitment across its lineup. Earlier, it was offerd with just dual front airbags. Recently, the brand has also upgraded the Alto K10, Eeco, Celerio and Grand Vitara with enhanced safety suite.

While an official statement is yet to come, we expect this update to command a significant price hike.

For those unaware, the six airbags setup comprises driver airbag in the steering wheel, front passenger airbag in the dashboard, two side airbags build into the outer edge of the front seats to protect chest on during side impact, and two curtain airbags which run along the side of the roof to protect passengers heads in side impacts or rollovers.
