Mahindra SUV Sales In November 2024 (Powertrain-Wise)

Mahindra’s November 2024 sales data clearly shows that diesel variants dominate the brand’s SUV lineup. While petrol and electric options are growing consistently, diesel continues to be the most preferred choice for Mahindra customers, especially for models like Scorpio N, Thar and XUV700. This is mainly due to their power, torque and off-road capabilities, making them an ideal option for both urban and rugged terrains.

In other news, Mahindra has recently renamed its BE 6e SUV to BE 6 following a nomenclature controversy with Indigo. The BE 6 (originally BE 6e) was unveiled along with the XEV 9e, both are based on the brand’s EV-dedicated INGLO platform, which features BYD’s blade cell technology. It comes with two battery pack options: 59 kWh and 79 kWh, offering a real-world range of over 500 kilometres on a single charge. Head here for more details.
