Mahindra Records 46,222 SUV Sales In November 2024

Mahindra & Mahindra reported a strong sales performance for November 2024, with total SUV sales reaching 47,294 units, including exports. The brand sold 46,222 units domestically, marking an impressive 16% growth compared to the same period last year. This robust growth can be attributed to huge demand for XUV700, Thar, Scorpio and XUV 3XO.

In the LCV and MHCV commercial vehicle segment, the Indian carmaker registered a sales of 22,042 units. In the 3-wheelers regime, it sold 8043 units.

In other news, Mahindra has recently revealed two new born-electric SUVs: the BE 6e and XEV 9e. These electrified SUVs are based on the brand’s latest INGLO platform, which employs BYD’s blade cell technology and utilises what the brand calls a “compact 3-in-1 powertrain” that consists of a motor, an inverter and the transmission. The SUVs will be offered in rear-wheel drive configuration in the initial phase. However, a dual-motor AWD versions coukd be introduced at a later stage. The indicative ex-showroom price in Chennai for the BE 6e and XEV 9e will be around Rs 18.90 lakh and Rs 21.90 lakh. Head here for more details.
