Design-wise, the Skoda Kylaq looks like a scaled-down version of the Kushaq, featuring a familiar butterfly grille up front and a split LED headlamp setup. It sits on 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and gets prominent side cladding and roof rails, providing it with a rugged appeal. Towards the rear, it gets crystalline LED taillamps and the brand’s new wordmark on the tailgate.

Sitting on the MQB-A0-IN platform that underpins the Slavia and Kushaq, the Kylaq is 3995mm long, 1619mm wide, and 1783mm tall. It has a wheelbase of 2568mm, a ground clearance of 189mm, and a boot capacity of 446 litres, which can be extendable up to 1265 litres with the rear seats folded down.

The interior design also takes inspiration from the Kushaq, featuring a layered dashboard and a dual-tone black and grey cabin theme. Regarding features, it comes kitted with amenities like a single-pane sunroof, an 8-inch digital driver’s display, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, auto-dimming IRVM, powered front seats with ventilation function, auto AC, rear AC vents, cruise control, wireless charger, front & rear armrests, ambient lighting, keyless entry with push button start/stop, leatherette seats and much more.

Passengers’ safety will be ensured by six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, ISOFIX anchors, tyre pressure indicator, hill hold assist, and a reverse parking camera with sensors.
