For those who aren’t aware, the Mahindra Scorpio N was launched at an introductory price range of Rs 11.99 lakh to Rs 23.90 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). This pricing was valid only for first 25,000 customers and the brand will soon announce the new prices. We expect the asking rates for the SUV to increase by Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 lakh. However, it is worth noting that all subsequent orders will be sold as per the prices prevalent at the time of delivery.

Mahindra offers the new Scorpio N with two engine options: a 2.0-liter turbo-petrol (200PS/380Nm) and a 2.2-litre diesel that comes in two different state of tunes: 132PS/300Nm with the entry-level variants and up to 175PS/400Nm for higher-spec trims. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic. The diesel-manual combination also be had with an all-wheel-drivetrain (AWD). It also receives three driving modes (Zip, Zap, Zoom), 4 off-road modes (Sand, Mud, Grass & Snow), electronic stability program, tyre pressure monitoring system, hill hold & descent assist, traction control, etc.

Mahindra Scorpio N Deliveries

In the Indian market, the new-gen Mahindra Scorpio can be seen as an body-on-frame rugged alternative to the Hyundai Creta/Alcazar, Kia Seltos, Tata Harrier/Safari, Mg Hector/Hector Plus and Mahindra XUV700.
