Mahindra & Mahindra has recently launched the new-generation Scorpio called the Scorpio N and we all know that it will be sold alongside its predecessor that will soon receive a facelift update and a new suffix with its name. Called the Mahindra Scorpio Classic, the upgraded SUV will be revealed on August 12.
Mahindra Scorpio Classic – What’s New?
The Mahindra Scorpio Classic will be positioned below the Scorpio N and will be sold in two variants: S3+ and S11. Expect both trims to be available in both front-facing 7-seater and side-facing 9-seater versions.
Design-wise, the Scorpio will get a slightly revised front grille with the brand’s new twin-peak logo, a reworked bumper, new alloy wheels, body cladding applique, and vertical reflectors at the rear.
Inside, the SUV will flaunt a new black & beige dual-tone theme with faux wood inserts on the center console. It also gets a new 9-inch touchscreen instead of the older 7-inch unit with wireless smartphone integration via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Besides, features like cruise control, auto AC and rear parking camera will continue to be on offer.

Under the hood, the new Scorpio Classic will be offered with the Thar’s 132PS 2.2-litre diesel engine, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission that will propel the rear wheels of the SUV.
Expect the prices of the Mahindra Scorpio Classic to start from around Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom), undercutting the outgoing model with a huge difference.
